Our Tyson branch's route to East Texas - Western Louisiana from its origins in Virginia included stops in North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. We have firmly established roots in each of these states.

Our Baugus branch route to East Texas - Western Louisiana is similar to that of our Tyson branch. Except for Virgina the Baugus planted roots in North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama as well.

The Matriarch of our Abernathy Branch was my great aunt Mamie Bell Baugus Tyson 

The Matriarch of our Adams Branch was my 2nd great aunt Martha Caroline Brinkley-Tyson.

The Matriarch of our Blythe Branch was my 3rd cousin 2x removed, Bessie Lee Robinson-Tyson. 

Mary Jane Tyson-Gipson and  Artency Tyson-Gipson, both 1st cousins 3x removed. Sisters married brothers Ausborn and Eli Caldwell. 

The Matriarch of this Gipson Branch was my 1st cousin 3x removed, Alberta Baugus-Rambo.
